International Human Rights Day.
Afterwards, Susanna Vardanyan, the director of Women’s
Rights Center, turned to the Law on Domestic Violence and noted, that the
development of the law was commenced in 2007 and it was ready in 2009. It was
also noted, that the law was circulated several times and there have been made
some changes in the law.
It was mentioned, that the law was a completely new
one, and at the beginning it was discussed whether there was a need for the Law

but at the end they were assured, that there were some difference between
domestic violence and violence in other sectors.
